Preliminary hearing for “dial-a-dope” case set
A preliminary hearing has been set for one of two men accused of operating a “dial-a-dope” scheme in Prince Albert.
The hearing for Vikram Dodd of Surrey, B.C., has been set for May 16. A judge will decide if there’s enough evidence to send him to trial or dismiss the charges.
Vikram was arrested with Cody Gladson of Vancourver in Prince Albert in June, 2010.
The Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team conducted a search warrant in a West Hill hotel and found three ounces of cocaine, three ounces of marijuana, prescription drugs, electronics, firearms with ammunition and more than $6000 in cash.
