Tools For Empowerment & Talking Circles Hosted by ISKWEW – Women Helping Women

Tools for Empowerment – The Co-operative Health Centre’s Community Development Workers will be offering a weekly workshop every Friday afternoon from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at OK Hjertaas Room located upstairs in the Co-operative Health Centre.  Various facilitators from the community will be providing an array of informational topics to support families by providing educational workshops.  Everyone is welcome and there is no charge for the workshop. The next Workshops schedule are as follows:

· March 11th, Traditional Parenting Tools with Angie Bear

· March 18th, Women’s Sweat lodge & Feast, with Marcel Bird

· March 25th, Child Apprehension Workshop, with Rhonda Auger

· April 1st, Cognitive Disability, Laura Tyckon Behavior Consultant

TALKING CIRCLE – The Co-operative Health Centre’s Community Development Workers will be facilitating a Talking Circle every Tuesday evening from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at King George School.  This circle is open to women who are survivors of abuse.  Transportation and childcare are available upon request; requests must be in by noon of that Tuesday.  For more information, please contact Angie at 953-6217 or Rhonda at 953-6229.
