Time change not in the future for Saskatchewan
Mar 10, 2011 | 11:40 AM
Saskatchewan residents won't be changing their clocks anytime soon.
The government said it will not hold a referendum on daylight savings time in conjunction with a provincial election in November.
Minister of Municipal Affairs, Darryl Hickie, said a recent poll showed that two-thirds of more than 1,000 people surveyed opposed making the switch.
The rest of the country switches to daylight savings time this weekend, it will make Saskatchewan the same time as Alberta again.
