Blooms and Buds – Interaction Between Seniors and Children at Mont St. Joseph

Children are eligible for the Childcare Center as infants, toddlers, pre-school & school age.

Formal programming often includes opportunities for children to interact with the Residents of the Mont St. Joseph special care home. For more information call 764-3101.

In January of 1999 the Board of Directors of Mont St. Joseph Home adopted the Eden Alternative PhilosophyTM. With this philosophy came many changes including the opening of the Blooms and Buds Intergenerational Child Care Center. Together, our extended ‘family’ of Residents, their family(s), our staff and volunteers are committed to addressing the three plaques: loneliness, helplessness and boredom.
