Members of the Nipawin RCMP Detachment traded in their police vehicles last weekend for four RCMP snowmobiles.
Operation SNOWCHECK went out on patrol last Saturday.
The five hour patrol covered an area of 100 kilometres, from the community of Nipawin to Tobin Lake resort and back to Nipawin.
There were 23 snowmobiles stopped by police. Two received warnings for failing to display license plates on their snowmobiles.
