Chief Ron Michel, from the Prince Albert Grand Council, speaks at the sod turning for a new gas station.
The Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation is building the Petro-Canada at the corner of 22nd Street and Sixth Avenue East.
This is their third development.
The event was attended by members of the public and community elders.
