Raiders head to playoffs with a win in final regular season game

Igor Revenko’s goal with six seconds to go gave the Prince Albert Raiders a 4-3 win in game 72 of the regular season in Swift Current.

The Raiders were cruising late in the third period with a 3-1 lead, until the Broncos scored a pair of quick ones past the 17 minute mark. Those goals came just 26 seconds apart.

Mark McNeill, Todd Fiddler and Justin Maylan scored the other Prince Albert goals.

Brandon Herrod, Mark McNeill and line mate Todd Fiddler all had two point nights as they were dominant.

Goaltender Jamie Tucker was outstanding once again, making 31 saves on the night.

The final in game 72, the last regular season game, was 4-3 for the Raiders. They now prepare to meet the Saskatoon Blades in the first round of the playoffs.
