Parenteau takes home two awards at SCMA

After a list of nomination that was ripe for the picking, only one Prince Albert artist walked away with awards from the Saskatchewan Country Music Association.

Prince Albert’s Donny Parenteau took home two, the All Star Band Speciality and Aboriginal Artist of the Year.

When the nominations were released, Larry Krause, then Prince Albert Country Music Association (PACMA) president, was very confident.

“Prince Albert itself has a strong representation when comes time for nominations for the SCMA awards and also for winning awards as well,” Krause told paNOW at the time of nominations.
