C95’s Rambling Dave Scharf moving on

A Saskatoon radio legend is moving on to the next phase of his life.

Rambling Dave Scharf from our sister station C95, along with his family, are soon moving to Ottawa.

Career opportunities and desire for a change were two of Scharf's driving forces in the decision which he says wasn’t made lightly.

Scharf says one of his proudest moments had been his involvement in the fight against breast cancer.

“The C95 Radio Marathon for Breast Cancer Research is probably, I think, going to reign over my life as the high point in my career, and the pinacle for radio for me for all time,” said Scharf. “So to (former co-host) Lisa Rendall and to the Sask. Cancer Agency, thank you very much. That has been, and will always be, something very special.”
