Warmth. If you have ever been in the hospital recovering from surgery you know how comforting a warm blanket can be. When the Rotary Club of Prince Albert learned a $5,000 Blanket Warmer was needed on the 6th Floor, Medicine Unit at the Victoria Regional Hospital in Prince Albert they responded quickly.

Rotary Club President, Brian Bosomworth commented, “Our members are always very interested in how we can contribute to the community in a meaningful way. This just seemed like the right thing to do for so many positive reasons and we acted quickly.”

Debbie Wing, Nurse Unit Manager said, “We had a real need for the Blanket Warmer. We often have many patients who are a little older and keeping them warm can be a challenge. We are so grateful to the Rotary Club of Prince Albert for responding so quickly to our patient’s need.”
