Investigation under viaduct continues

A coroner has arrived on scene as part of the Prince Albert police investigation into a deceased person found underneath the Central Avenue viaduct, along 17th Street East.

The entire viaduct, as well as a few blocks along 17th Street, is closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

Officers have been on scene for several hours and Pedestrians have been told that the area will reopen later this afternoon.

paNOW reporters on scene say there are many officers, travelling back and forth between their vehicles and the area where the suspected remains are located, just out of view, with various pieces of equipment and gear.
