Canada`s Hottest Fitness Trend Launching at the JMC

On Wednesday night, April 6, at the John M. Cuelenaere Library, women from Prince Albert and surrounding area, gathered to pre-register for the opportunity to be a local contestant in the FITSTAR Weight Loss Challenge.

This FITSTAR challenge was inspired by two reality TV shows, ‘ The Biggest Loser’ and ‘Village on a Diet’.

Local women came to the library, on Wednesday, to meet two of Saskatchewan’s most dynamic trainers and their hostess, to hear about the challenge, and to join the hottest trend in the Health and Fitness industry.

The FITSTAR co-ordinators have five seasons and thousands of pounds of successful weight loss in rural Saskatchewan with this challenge already. The record breaking season, was this past winter in Humboldt, where the FITSTAR team helped melt away an amazing 705 pounds in only 10 weeks.

Prince Albert and area contestants, will be participating weekly, in group challenges, individual weigh-ins, kitchen demonstrations and tons of fun, outdoors and in the Parkland Community Club, 1510-9th Ave W, every Wednesday, with Week one beginning April 13, 2011.
