Flooding has left residents of the Red Earth First Nation temporarily displaced.

There are 61 families from the reserve near Carrot River that have been evacuated to Saskatoon.

About 257 people made the trip to Saskatoon beginning Saturday evening, said Norm Vetter with Social Services.

“Most of the individuals were placed in a congregated lodging facility or a shelter, at the Cosmo Centre in Saskatoon,” he said.
