Pitch In Day, May 4th, Downtown Prince Albert.
We are finally coming out of a cold, cold winter, and people are beginning to notice the amount of garbage that the snow has so kindly been hiding. May 4th will be the annual kick off event to the “Prince Albert Pitch In” campaign, from 7:00 am till noon in Memorial Square. (outside City Hall) As a bonus for those who show up, the A&W has provided us with coffee and muffins for the first 100 volunteers.
This is a great chance for citizens of Prince Albert to show that they care about the cleanliness of their city. We do not all litter, but it is all of our responsibility to keep it to a minimum on our streets and in our parks.
Cleanliness boosts moral, increases tourism, is good for the environment, and keeps our children and us safe from potential contaminants or danger. So lets band together this year and make it the most successful “Pitch In “yet!
