Good Sam R.V. Hosting Provincial Gathering – Encouraging Attendees to Shop P.A.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Saskatchewan Provincial Good Sam R.V. organization which is the Good Sam Club of America. Here in Saskatchewan, we have over 750 Chapter members, with an additional 2000 Good Sam International member’s in the province.

A Provincial Samboree (gathering) is held in June of each year, with up to 400 R.V.’s attending from across Canada and the United States. Prince Albert will be hosting the 2011 Samboree from June 8 to June 12.

The Samboree Committee plans a number of organized activities, while leaving time for the participants to visit and tour local attractions, shop and dine at local venues and merchants.

To encourage its members to visit & shop at the local merchants, we are asking them to keep their receipts from their purchases from Prince Albert merchants only. Draws will be made from those receipts and the lucky winners will be awarded prizes.

They are planning 3 draws with values of the 1st draw up to $25; the 2nd draw would be $25 – $50; and the 3rd draw would be $50 & over. Would your Chamber members consider providing the prizes for these draws? Our suggestion for the value of the prizes is $25, $50 and $75.
