Firefighters battle alley fires

Emergency crews responded to a residential fire in the alley way between around 7:20 p.m.

The fire turned out to be in the back alley between 21st and 22nd Streets West where a car port was aflame.

Crews battled the flames as they traveled to a neighbouring garage.

Witnesses on scene said the fire began in a garbage bin before traveling to the garages.

Currently, firefighters have subdued the flames and are salvaging the wreckage.
