Scotiabank Lead Sponsor of the 650 km Cycling Trip to Raise Money for Children’s Hospital Foundation

The WHL and The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan have joined forces to help raise funds for the completion of the Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon. Scotiabank is the leading sponsor of the 650 Km. cycling trip form Prince Albert to Regina June 6-9, 2011.

Scotiabank in Prince Albert is pleased to announce they are the launch point for the event running from June 6-9, 2011. The riders will be departing the branch at 9:30am heading to Saskatoon. On the morning of June 6, 2011 Scotiabank will be hosting a Fundraising Pancake Breakfast for the public, with all proceeds donated to the benefit of the Children’s Hospital Foundation. In attendance at the breakfast we will have local WHL players as well as NHL players and alumni. Some players and alumni that will be in attendance are: Kelly Chase, Curtis Leschyshyn, Dave Chartier, Mike Keane, Colby Armstrong, Riley Armstrong, Luke Schenn, Brayden Schenn, DJ King, Darcy Hordichuk.

In preparation for the event we are requesting donations of items for the breakfast to maximize the donation to The Children’s Hospital Foundation by matching funds raised at the event through our Scotiacares program.
We will ensure your organization is recognized on a sponsor wall at the event.

Some of the items we are requesting are:
Sausages
Juice/Coffee
Syrup/Margarine/Ketchup
Paper plates, cups, knives, forks
Flour, powdered milk, baking powder, sugar and oil
