Paddlers got up on their feet Sunday at Murray Point.

They took part in the free stand-up paddling lessons from Neil Kirby, certified stand-up paddle instructor.

He said it is a sport anyone can do, and a great abdominal workout.

The free lessons were put on by Saskatchewan Parks.

Kirby said he will be giving lessons at Belle’s Beach on Monday and Tuesday for stand-up paddling and kite boarding, if it’s windy enough. From there he will head to Waskesiu for a week of lessons.
