Residents in a duplex on the 500 block of 26th Street East awoke to smoke this morning.
Emergency Services responded to the call at about 7:30 a.m. Firefighters found smoke in the building and had to remove one person from the house.
One shaky resident said it was a hard wake-up call. She and her daughter watched as firefighters used their fans to clear the smoke before giving an all clear.
According to the Prince Albert Fire Department the smoke was caused by a pot left on the stove.
