Jul 16, 2011 | 7:45 AM

SaskTel workers, represented by the Communications Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada (CEP), have formalized a new collective agreement with the crown telecommunications company.

The union finished voting on the new contract Thursday.

The three-year agreement is retroactive from March 2010, when SaskTel employees’ last contract expired.

Workers will receive a 1.5 per cent increase in the first year of the contract, and a two per cent increase the next two years.
