Human bones have been discovered at a residential construction site in Oxbow.
The discovery was made on Friday and RCMP said they believe the bones to be more than 50 years old.
“This is possibly an old grave site and they’re not suspecting foul play at this point,” said Sgt. Al Presler, with the RCMP, adding they are still investigating the findings.
The next step is for an anthropologist to determine the gender and age of the remains, but that will take some time.
