Time change issue voted down

Regina's city council won’t be bringing the time change issue back as the province nears this fall's election.
A motion brought forward by one councillor on Monday, July 25, would have had council pushing the provincial parties to take a position on Daylight Saving Time.
The motion didn’t pass despite a tie vote, with half the councillors insisting that the city's first request heading into the election should be more substantial.
“The priorities that I am concerned about are not Daylight Savings Time,” insisted Councillor Louis Browne.
