Cote First Nation close to ousting chief and band council
While the outcome of the vote isn’t official yet, people of the Cote First Nation, near Kamsack say they have enough to oust their current chief and council following allegations of embezzlement.
Rosalind Caldwell has been trying to prove that her band council has been stealing treaty land entitlement money since February.
Charges have been laid but at this point, they're still allegations.
Caldwell says they don't have a final count, but she's certain they've won.
