Agreement ratified

The Prince Albert Parkland Health Region Board ratified the tentative collective agreement between SAHO/HSAS.

“We are very pleased, as a board, that this labour dispute has been settled, it is vitally important to have an agreement that provides competitive compensation for our staff members,” said Gord Dobrowolsky, board chairman.

“And that also allows us to recruit and retain professionals who provide valuable health care series to all of the people in the health care region.”

The agreement is set to cover the union from April 2009 to March 2013.

“We, as a board, are so pleased that this has been ratified because now we can get back to business as usual.”
