Saskatchewan Credit Unions are accepting donations on behalf of the Red Cross in their efforts to battle the severe food crisis in East Africa.
The donations will go to countries like Somalia, where millions of people have nothing to eat.
Richard Kies with the Red Cross said you can drop by any Credit Union branch and encourages people to donate in the next month.
“The government of Canada will match donations from individuals from now, up until Sept. 15,” said Kies.
