New rural doctors to ease workloads

The Kelsey Trail Health Region has two new doctors.

Dr.Tamzyl Levendall will be taking over for Dr. Van der Ross in Melfort for one year and then opening her own practice in Melfort. For the time being she will be providing locum physician services in the area.

Hudson Bay will have a new doctor on Monday. Dr. Petrus Masekoameng opens his practice on Aug.15 out of the Hudson Bay Medical Group.

Both doctors come from South Africa.

In a press release it said the two new doctors should help ease the workload for other physicians in the two communities.
