KidsFirst Looking for Casual Driver

Kids First Program: The Kids First Program offers intensive early childhood supports for vulnerable children and their families prenatal to age five. The program is focused on the prevention of developmental delays and the support of families in promoting healthy childhood development.

General Description
This person is a casual employee of Saskatchewan Rivers School Division reporting to the Kids First Program Manager. This person provides Kids First transportation for such things as school, childcare and medical appointments; ensures the van is maintained; and keeps records of transportation provided. This position would be ideal for someone who wants some casual work to supplement retirement for example.

We are looking for someone who has:
– Personal suitability to work with vulnerable families
– A caring, patient, non-judgmental attitude
– Excellent interpersonal communication, time management, and organizational skills
– Knowledge of the Aboriginal community and Aboriginal culture.
– Ability to work some flexible hours on occasion

A valid driver’s license, drivers abstract, a police name security check and a child welfare record check is required.
