Much Ado About Nothing in Melfort

Regina Little Theatre, from Regina, Saskatchewan is pleased to announce its entry in TheatreFest 2015, Theatre Saskatchewan Inc.’s Provincial Drama Festival.  The play “Much Ado About Nothing” will be performed on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at the CJVR Performing Arts Theatre, Kerry Vickar Centre, Melfort, Saskatchewan.

Set in the 1980’s, this adapted version of “Much Ado About Nothing” begins when Sign No More, a band, arrive at the home of record executive, Leonato.  Claudio falls in love with Hero, a budding pop star and Leonato’s daughter.  They plan to marry but are thwarted by Don Hohn.  Beatrice, Hero’s cousin and agent, and Benedick are stuck in a battle of wits which threatens to keep Claudio and Hero unmarried forever.
