Over $82 K raised for Children’s Haven

Children’s Haven is thanking Prince Albert for their support in the 26th annual Power99 Radio Marathon, which raised $82,945.

“Thank you very much, we really appreciate every dollar that you’ve given, we’ll stretch the dollars and make it last until next year,” said Children’s Haven program director Lynda Douglas. “Thank you Prince Albert, for standing behind us.”

Although the event didn’t raise as much money this year Douglas was still very positive.

“Today was a little bit slower than we expected, however like I said before we never like to set a total that we wish to achieve, we start with nothing and whatever we get is great,” she said. “[The community] did as well as could be expected, yes, there’s a lot of fundraisers going in Prince Albert and so we’re just one of them.”
