Former gang members give back to community

Members of the Prince Albert chapter of the ‘Crazy Indians Brotherhood’ spent the day Thursday outside Our House, feeding the city’s homeless.

The brotherhood – made of former gang members and men with troubled pasts – provided free hamburgers, hot dogs and bottles of water.

“We’re all from here so he had to support our people,” said spokesperson Jonathon Ermine.

The brotherhood was founded in 2007 as a support network for men with criminal pasts.  The Prince Albert chapter is the only one of its kind in Saskatchewan, he said.
