Volunteers saluted by health region

Men and women who have donated countless hours to the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region (PAPHR) were recognized during a special event Thursday night at the Prince Albert Travelodge.

The theme of this year’s volunteer awards night was “Volunteers Grow Community.”

About 200 volunteers were recognized for their long term commitment. This includes the Shellbrook Health Care Auxiliary group which was recognized for their 65-year service to PAPHR. 

Among the guest speakers were PAPHR’s Chief Executive officer Cecile Hunt and PAPHR’s board of directors chairperson Brenda Abrametz.
