P.A. badminton players qualify for regionals

Prince Albert will serve up some stiff competition at the regional badminton championships this weekend in Carrot River..

Coming out of Districts, six students from Carlton High School have qualified and one student from St Mary High School.
 
Alex Zhou and Cory Sawchuk from Carlton finished first in boys’ doubles.
 
St. Mary’s Shania Cabilao and Calrton’s Carly Zultok qualified in girls singles.
 
The mixed team of Cole Sanderson and Jessica Vance, from Carlton, also qualified but Sandersen is already committed to the Conexus provincial volleyball championships, which are also this weekend.
