High Noon Optimists Looking for Buyer for Chair Lift

Four years ago the HN Club installed an ‘Acorn’ style chairlift to make access to their second floor Clubroom easier for disabled / seniors , etc; who have difficulty climbing stairs.

Recent changes to fire codes and site inspection has deemed the stairwell to be too narrow to accommodate the chairlift for public access. We have been advised that the fixture must be removed by June 1.

The HN Club is seeking a buyer who would have use for such a chairlift. It could be used in a private home to provide easier / safer access between floors.

The manufacturer is ‘Hammond’; 14 steps; electric / chain drive with battery backup (in event of power failure); max chair weight (350lbs); dual drive controls and many more features.
