A group of teenagers face charges connected to vandalism at a community hall in Sandy Bay, including the theft of a flagpole.
On Friday, a youth in Sandy Bay was seen carrying a Canadian flag and flagpole. The two items had been taken from inside Gary Morin Memorial Hall.
The hall was also vandalized. A television, video camera and other equipment were thrown and smashed.
Police have arrested six youths in connection to the incident. Due to their ages, their names cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
