Rural P.A. water advisory lifted

May 15, 2015 | 6:33 PM

A drinking water advisory that was set up for rural Prince Albert has now been lifted.

The advisory was issued on Wednesday after officials with Prince Albert Rural Water Utility discovered a break-in at one of the pumping stations.

Officials report now that any possible contaminants would now have been flushed from the system and the water should be safe for consumption once again.

The RCMP had been brought in to investigate the break-in, however no details on that investigation have been released.
