RCMP investigate suspicious death in Melfort

Melfort RCMP are investigating a suspicious death in Melfort.

A 70-year-old man was discovered dead at his home in the community at around midnight Monday morning.

RCMP have requested the assistance of Major Crime Unit South from Regina and Tisdale Forensic Identification Services in the investigation.

The body has been sent in for autopsy on Tuesday morning at 9:30 in Saskatoon.

RCMP are withholding the name of the deceased at this time.
