Trials set for 2014 Nipawin attack, home invasion
Trials have been set for three of the four people arrested in connection to a home invasion which sent a Nipawin man to hospital.
The break and enter into the man’s home on June 15, 2014 left him with life-threatening head injuries after he was assaulted with a weapon, the RCMP said at the time.
The accused attackers – Nathan Pelly of Nipawin, Magnus Kitchmonia of Kamsack, and William Bignell of Kamsack- are going to trial in 2016 at Melfort’s Court of Queen’s Bench.
In 2014, the RCMP alleged Pelly’s actions were the most severe out of the group of four people arrested for that attack.
