A Regina-born Roughrider is calling it a career.
Neal Hughes is retiring after 11 seasons in the CFL as a Saskatchewan Roughrider. He made the announcement on Wednesday morning.
Hughes is a two-time Grey Cup champion, and has spent time as an ambassador for the Red Cross speaking to students about bullying in “Beyond the Hurt” presentations.
The fullback had missed a significant amount of time last season due to a foot injury.
