Sharks Swimming Club News

There have been a couple of events that our swimmers have attended in the last month or so. 

I am very excited to say that Kendall Horan and Tristan Anderson-Woodsworth travelled to Calgary with the Swim Saskatchewan Western Canada Games Team to compete.  They both had some great swims and came home with some great personal bests. It was a great opportunity to travel outside the province and race other talented swimmers. 

This past weekend, the Sharks swam at Moose Jaw for their 49th annual Summerfest. This competition is generally our swimmer’s only chance to race in an outdoor pool.

We had the opportunity  to contend with the general Saskatchewan summer weather. We had sun, cloud, rain, and only one 30 minute lightning break.
