Jun 27, 2015 | 5:24 PM

UPDATE: According to RCMP bother the grandmother and young girl have been found safe.

The RCMP put out a plea for help on Saturday, for a 70-year-old woman and her granddaughter who have been missing since Friday afternoon.

Aires Hotomanie, 5, and her grandmother, Patricia Mandeville, were last seen leaving a home in the village of Rhein, northeast of Yorkton, around 3 p.m. on Friday. The RCMP said they were in a white Dodge Caravan with a Manitoba license plate, HCE 965. The truck has a black bra on the front and coloured beads hanging from the rearview mirror.

In a news release on Saturday, the RCMP said they don’t have any reason to believe the two are hurt, but no one has heard from them since, and Mandeville has some health concerns.

Hotomanie is described as a thin aboriginal girl, about 3′ tall, with brown hair that reaches to the middle of her back, and a mole on her right cheek. She was last seen wearing purple shorts, a pink tank top, and pink flip-flops.

Mandeville is described as an aboriginal woman with a medium build, about 5’3″, 170 lbs, with short, white hair and glasses. She was last seen wearing a maroon skirt, a black long-sleeved top, and coloured elastics on her wrists. The RCMP said Mandeville has difficulty walking and sometimes needs help.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Hotomanie or Mandeville is asked to call the Yorkton rural RCMP at 306‑786‑4500, or Crime Stoppers at 1‑800‑222‑8477.
