Shoppers Drug Mart pitches in for evacuees

A truck and trailer, loaded with food and supplies, pulled up Monday morning to the Senator Allen Bird Memorial Centre.

The two Shoppers Drug Mart stores in Prince Albert donated $8,000 worth of goods.

McAulley Law Firm also made a donation to the cause, presenting a cheque of $1,000 for the cause.

Volunteers at the Senator Allen Bird Memorial Centre updated paNOW with what they need: hygiene products like deodorant, and shavers; as well as sunscreen, laundry detergent and diapers for newborns.
