RCMP say nothing suspicious about dead body

The Prince Albert RCMP is releasing more details on a weekend call after a body was found floating in the South Saskatchewan river last Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as a 27- year-old man from Muskoday First Nation. 

According to an RCMP news release, he had been reported missing earlier that day.

The family has requested the man’s name not be released.

RCMP said the death is not considered suspicious.
