Parkland Ambulance reports busy long weekend

Parkland Ambulance Paramedics did not get much rest over the long weekend.

Parkland Ambulance responded to 95 incidents from Friday through Monday.

Among those incidents:

A 20 year-old- man was assaulted on the exhibition grounds Friday night.  He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

There were at least eight other assaults that occurred over the course of the long weekend in Prince Albert, but there were no serious injuries.

Just after midnight Saturday, there was a motor vehicle crash on Highway 2 North.  Paramedics at the scene said none of the occupants required medical attention.

Early Sunday morning, two men, ages 55 and 25, were taken to hospital following a motor vehicle crash on the Little Red River Reserve. Injuries were described as not life threatening.
