Force still too strong for Astros; Astros still alive in nat. playoffs
Earning their double-life playoff berth is going to come in handy for the Prince Albert Astros at the 2015 U16 Boy’s Fast Pitch Championships Saturday at Prime Minister’s Park.
They lost their opening playoff game to the Glencoe Home Run Force 6-4, but since they were ranked in the top four in the round robin, they’ll still be alive in the tournament. Their next game is at 5 p.m. on Saturday against the West Hants Nova Scotia Thunder.
The Astros beat the Thunder 6-5 in their final round robin game earlier on Saturday.
