Pee Wee Astros win Western Canadian championship

The Prince Albert Pee Wee Astros picked up a gold medal 2015 U14 Western Canadian Softball Champions Sunday in Winnipeg.

They beat the Tavistock A’s 4-1 in the finals for the Western Canadian title. In fact, the Astros’ last three wins were against the A’s, 8-0 in the first playoff game and 9-5 in their last group stage game.

The Astros won six of their seven tournament games, scoring 73 runs.
