OK Hjertaas Golf Tournament raises $86K

The Victoria Hospital Foundation’s 18th annual OK Hjertaas Golf Tournament teed off at Cooke Municipal Golf Course on Friday.

Over 150 golfers took part in the fundraiser honouring the late Dr. Orville Hjertaas, known for his work in the development of Saskatchewan’s medicare system.

The money raised will go towards the purchase of a new instrument washer for the Sterile Processing Department.

According to the foundation, the tournament has raised over $1 million to date for vital medical equipment.
