Sharks at Western Canada Summer Games

Aug 23, 2015 | 9:20 AM

Well the water has settled from the Western Canada Summer games and our swimmers have returned!

Kendall Horan and Tristan Anderson-Woodsworrth came back from great experience, returning with some great swims. Kendall swam a total of three individual races and swam best times in them all, as well as being on both 4×50 and 4×100 Medley and Freestyle relays; a total of 4 relays.  She had an excellent competition. Kendall placed 7th in 100 Free, 6th in 100 Back, and 7th in the 200 Back.

Tristan had some great swims, swimming his best events in 100 Breast, 200 Breast, and 200 IM his best placings were in the 200 Breast where he placed 14th overall! I am very proud of these swimmers for first off qualifying and then swimming so well at the games. I am looking forward to what our new swim season will hold!

Speaking of that our registration starts on September 2nd for all new swimmers so if you would like your swimmer to learn how to swim and be a part of the sharks we have a group appropriate for them.  Enjoy the rest of the summer.
