Stanley Mission man charged with attempted murder

Jeffery Thomas Roberts from Stanley Mission has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting a man and uttering death threats against him.   

Around 3:30 p.m. Sunday morning, Stanley Mission RCMP where called to a home where shots had been fired.

Three adults were home at the time of the incident. One man was grazed by a shot. He was treated at the Stanley Mission Health Clinic and later released. The other two adults were not injured.

As a result of the investigation, Police have laid a number of charges against Jeffery Thomas Roberts including attempted murder, discharge of a firearm into residence, possession of a weapon with intent to commit an offence along with three other charges.
