Stolen truck leaves path of damage along Regina’s Athol Street

A truck Regina police say was stolen plowed through a block of Athol Street early Tuesday morning leaving more than a dozen vehicles damaged.

Police say they arrested the 16-year-old driver and her 15-year-old passenger and charges are pending. The 15-year-old has some minor injuries.

Firefighters doused the black truck from Bethune with water at 13th Avenue and Athol Street.

There are 13 vehicles on the 2000 block of Athol Street that are damaged, with broken side mirrors and windows. One is even missing a wheel.
