Car accidents keep paramedics busy on weekend
Parkland Ambulance responded to 63 calls over the weekend, the most significant of which were car accidents.
Two men were struck by a car on the Sturgeon Lake Reserve on Friday. Both were taken to hospital and are in good condition.
A car crash at 3rd Ave. and 22nd St. E sent a 64-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman to hospital Saturday afternoon.
On Saturday night paramedics responded to a 60-year-old man who was struck by a car at the intersection of 6th Ave. and 6th St. E. He sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for further care.
